Mycore reveals its new guise and launches Open Air, its brand new line of outdoor roller blinds, to make the most of your outdoor spaces, such as a veranda or a terrace, in maximum comfort, even during the hottest days, and in complete privacy.

Synergy of style with the indoors

Open Air is part of the Finespin line, which brings to mind the essential and precious design selected by Mycore for indoor roller blinds. It is a natural extension of style to open spaces, with the flexibility of a product that is always made to measure, based on the architectural configuration of the building.

Made in Italy and quality guaranteed by noble materials, including stainless steel and aluminum, with top-quality manual or motorized mechanical operation and resistant finishes painted coated in white, gray or anthracite epoxy powders.

Superior energy efficiency

The solar screens are particularly effective if installed outdoors: they reduce the thermal energy of the sun, which reaches the windows with reduced intensity and becomes minimal if indoor blinds are also installed inside the room, with significant benefits in terms of energy savings.

The ability to shield solar thermal energy is measured by the “g tot e” indicator (solar factor with awning installed outside), which also considers the contribution of the window glass. The datum is provided for all the fabrics available with Open Air, in order to combine aesthetic and technical evaluations in the selection of your model.

Full range of fabrics

The extension of the surface of the outdoor rollers makes the fabric an even more important evaluation element for a result in line with expectations.

The wind-resistant technical fabrics are available in a complete range of colours: filtering, for a better view of the outside, or blackout, to block visible light, infrared and UV rays.

The installation of a lower counterweight also ensures the perfect tensioning of the fabric, to avoid unsightly dog ears or folds, and provides greater stability to the system.

Technology at the service of comfort

Upon request, Open Air can also be fitted with a sun and wind sensor with wired or radiofrequency technology, which automatically operates the system on the basis of the weather conditions.
Open Air stands out for its Class 1 wind resistance rating, according to the European standard UNI EN 13561, for safe use even with moderate-intensity air currents.

It is possible to operate Open Air with remote controls that manage up to 6 channels, or directly from a Smartphone via the app for iOS and Android, to set a variety of operation options that move one or more sheets together at the desired height.

A careful eye on sustainability and health

The fabrics selected for the Open Air line are made with recyclable materials and classified as Greenguard Gold, a certification issued to products that comply with some of the most stringent international standards regarding the emission of chemicals that are potentially harmful to human health, with the added goal of reducing air pollution.
